Support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Man and Woman of the Year Campaign 2011!
Please check out my homepage for the campaign@ http://coh.mwoy.llsevent.org/TeamKaplan
Earlier this winter, I was nominated to be Man of the Year by Jon Will who is a former board member of The Central Ohio chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and an investment advisor for Wells Fargo Advisors in Dublin, Ohio . I am honored to be participating in this campaign to raise awareness and funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I ask that you join me by making a contribution to my fundraising campaign. Each dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate with the most donations is named the local Man or Woman of the Year.
I am raising money in honor of my mother, Wally Kaplan, who was diagnosed and successfully treated for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 1996. Recently, however, she was diagnosed with MBL which can be a precursor to CLL, a form of leukemia. My mom is a survivor, a fighter, and an artist as well as one of the role models in my life. I love her very much and would like to help prevent anyone from having to watch their mother fight this fight. Let’s all help to find a cure! I am also raising money in honor or the Boy and Girl of the Year: Parker MacDonald, an 11 year old lymphoma survivor and Olivia Langwasser, a 10 year old leukemia survivor. Your donation will help to find a cure for blood cancers and is greatly appreciated. Your donation is tax deductible and will support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society programs, including research, patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services.
Many thanks for your support for patients and their families who are battling blood cancers. Be sure to visit my web site often to check on my progress and please ask your friends to support my efforts!
Join me and help advance the mission of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
